Daily Devotions

Deer at Dawn or Dawn Rites

These rites begin with morning yoga exercises to honor the sun and the day. A small devotion and offering to the Deer or Stag totem spirit is then performed. Focus shifts next to the body whereby you treat it as sacred through your morning preparations. Then you have tea and breakfast and sit to plan the day and address morning social media concerns.

Wolf at Night or Wolf Rites

These rites do not have to be done in any particular order save for the last one, a moment of silence before you sleep to thank the gods and spirits for things and people in your life. Among these rites are the devotions to Wolf through a recitation of the Rudyard Kipling poem, "Law of the Jungle," and a howl (usually at midnight). Other rites include: a protective perimeter check of your home, spending some quality time with your family, warrior arts and exercises, meditation, and connecting with your extended family.
